Privacy policy
Who we are
Krijn AI B.V., based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, runs krijn.ai and the Krijn AI service. For any question about this policy or your data, write to [email protected].
Data we process, and why
Two kinds of personal data pass through Krijn AI. We handle them differently.
- Website and contact data. When you use the contact form or email us, we process your name, work email, company, country, role and message so we can reply. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries sent to us.
- Customer data. When a customer uses the Krijn AI service, the invoices, contracts, deals and shipment data they provide can contain personal data, for example the name of a contact on an invoice. We process it only to deliver the service, under our agreement with that customer. For this data we act as a processor on the customer's instructions.
How the contact form works
When you send the contact form, your message is passed on to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form handling service that processes the submission on our behalf. If you prefer, you can email us directly at [email protected] instead.
No tracking
This website does not run analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not use tracking cookies. See the cookie statement.
Hosting
This website is delivered by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical data, such as your IP address, when you request a page, so that the site can be delivered and kept secure.
Where customer data is processed
Customer data is hosted and processed on infrastructure in the EU. We use a limited number of subprocessors, mainly cloud infrastructure and AI providers, to deliver the service. A current list is available on request.
Retention
We keep contact form messages and emails only as long as needed to answer and follow up on your enquiry. Customer data is kept for as long as the agreement with the customer says, and is deleted within an agreed period after the agreement ends, or on request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
If the way we handle personal data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
